“When the world gives you lemons, make some lemonade.”
That’s exactly what James Powell (JP), owner of APT Haul, did earlier this year. Let’s face it, 2020 pretty much sucks; with an ever growing list of business closures, it’s hard, for any owner, to keep their company afloat. After, NC’s shutdowns, JP knew, he needed to revision his service model, or he too, would be added to that list.
So, he sat down with his financial advisor, looked at the hard numbers, and took a structured finacial risk. See, JP owns a moving company; he spent his days relocating his clients across town and across country. But, a few months into the pandemic, his phone literally stopped ringing. “I’m not gonna lie”, said JP, “I was freaking out; I had bills to pay and a family to take care of.” JP told us, his advisor suggested he start moving what people needed. So, after some research, and a few calls to fellow drivers, JP learned there was a huge need for PPE transportation. “The product was literally sitting on the docks just waiting for someone to come and pick it up. I have to admit, there was a bit of a learning curve”, said JP, “but, once we had the proper licenses and equipment, we were ready to go. Well, almost.”
People don’t buy what they don’t know if for sale; so, he called us for a rebrand of his services. We sat down with him, went over his offerings, and designed a visual game-plan to meet his needs. After, we pinpointed who and where his targetmarket was, we designed a new visual idneith, website, ablah lbah.
“Calls started to pick-up; a month ago. And, we just received a 1 million dollar order for PPE.”, says JP, “My client found us online! They said, they knew we could get the job done, because our website was so professional and informative. Now, my stress is hiring a staff to handle all the work. But, hey, don’t get me wrong”, laughs JP, “That’s a problem I’ll take anyday.”
Thank you, JP, for reaching out and trusting us with you new adventure; blah blah
